Club Day 2012 and The Olympic Flame
Club Day 2012 will be on Saturday 23rd June.
It has now been announced that the Olympic Flame will be carried through Lytham on the same day.
The torchbearing route is as follows:6.20am to 7.18am – leaves Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club; Beauclerk Road; St Thomas’ Road; Clifton Drive South; King Edward Avenue; Inner Promenade to Ansdell Road South; Clifton Drive; West Beach, Central Beach; Lytham Windmill.
The torch will then be carried by vehicle convoy to the Land Registry building in Warton.
7.22am to 7.44am. Torchbearers carry the flame from the Land Registry along Lytham Road to the roundabout between Warton and Freckleton.
The torch will then be carried by vehicle convoy to Preston.
